Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Using Fuelo

By using Fuelo you agree to these terms. Fuelo shows fuel prices in Greece and related tools, on a free plan and optional paid plans. You must be able to enter a binding agreement to use a paid plan, and the information you give us (like your email) must be accurate. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice.

Accounts

You are responsible for the email address you use to sign in and for activity under your account. Sign-in uses a one-time secure link sent to that address; keep access to your inbox secure. You can optionally add a second sign-in step (a code from an authenticator app). If you enable it, keep access to that app secure too: we cannot bypass it for you, and losing it means contacting us so we can reset it after confirming you're the account owner.

Billing

Paid plans (currently Turbo and Nitro) are billed monthly in EUR through Stripe, our payment processor, by card or Revolut Pay, and renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrading a plan takes effect immediately with a prorated charge for the rest of the current period; downgrading to a lower paid plan or to the free plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep what you paid for until then. We do not offer refunds for the unused portion of a billing period except where required by applicable consumer law. You can view your billing status, switch plans, or cancel at any time from your account; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

Prices are indicative

Prices shown are regional average figures sourced from the Greek Fuel Price Observatory (ΔΙ.Μ.Ε.Α., fuelprices.gr) and other third-party data, updated periodically (typically daily). They are indicative averages, not a live feed from any specific station, and may differ from the price you're actually charged at the pump. Always confirm the price before fuelling. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any price shown.

Tools

The trip-cost calculator, fuel log, price alerts, garage and comparison tools are provided to help you estimate and track your own fuel costs and usage. Figures they produce (cost per trip, consumption, savings) are estimates based on the data you enter and the prices available to us; they are not guarantees of what you will actually spend.

Developer API

Turbo and Nitro plans include API access, subject to the request-volume limits shown on the pricing page for your plan. API keys are personal to your account: don't share, sell, or publish them. We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke API access that we reasonably believe is abusive, resold, or otherwise outside normal use, and may change API limits or endpoints with notice on this site.

Third-party data and services

Fuelo relies on and links to third-party data and services: ΔΙ.Μ.Ε.Α./fuelprices.gr and other sources for prices, OpenStreetMap and its Nominatim geocoder for station and address locations, Stripe for payments, and hosting/infrastructure providers for running the site. We don't control these services, and we're not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it; don't scrape it at a scale or rate that harms availability for others (programmatic access is available through a paid API plan instead); don't share, resell, or use your account or API keys on someone else's behalf without our consent; don't use the service to break the law.

Your data

See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why, and how to download or permanently delete your data yourself from your account settings at any time.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Fuelo and delete your account at any time from account settings, which also cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these terms, including after a warning where practical for less serious violations.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Fuelo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on the prices or estimates it shows, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or €0 if you're on the free plan). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

As a Greece-focused service, these terms are governed by Greek law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence if you're an EU/EEA consumer.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms from time to time; this page shows the date they were last updated (21 July 2026). Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
